Chuck, cracking the whip!!!
This was but one of many phenominal bullwhip tricks he mastered; after the whip connected (as in photo), Chuck used the whip to whirl its participant round and round. With his whip, he could also snap a cigarette out of the participant's mouth. (The crack of the whip one hears is made by the whip breaking the sound barrier, which happens just before contact with the participant.)

The roots of Chuck Grimes were grounded in faith, trust and perserverance. There wasn't any gray. If it was worth doing, it was worth doing your best at. No matter who was, or was not watching. It wasn't about impressing others. It was about being comfortable in your own skin. Anywhere, anytime, anyplace, be yourself and don't compromise your integrity. You make a mistake, fess up, apologize and learn from it.
Respect for God's creation and his inner convictions were the main priorities. Treat other people like you want to be treated and forgive them if they don't.
He had several "Don't Do's". Here are a few.
Don't start something you can't finish.
Don't pick a fight.
Don't think your pride is more important than another's.
Don't wait for someone else to do it.
Don't worry about what other people think.
Don't give up unless it's wise to do so.
Don't let emotions control your wisdom.
Do, give thanks to the Lord every day.
